Production Supervisor, E.max 3rd Shift  Location: Somerset, New Jersey Purpose   To support all aspects of the e.max block production, in conjunction with successful execution of production plans and achievement of all KPI objectives.    Your Responsibilities - Coordinate and expedite daily production activities through supervision and SAP functions. - Create production schedules through collaboration with the department manager and SAP planner.  - Support hiring and training directives through employee counsel and review of specifications. - Enforce all complany policy and procedures.  - Direct cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory levels.  - Maintain inventory levels of all non-MRP supplies by issuing SAP purchase requisitions.  - Perform other related duties and assignments as required.  Your Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - 1-3 years' of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. - Computer literate in Microsoft Office. AB Technician I - 12 Hour Night Shift Location: Somerset, New Jersey Purpose   To manufacture high quality dental products for commercial sale.   Your Responsibilities - Execute all policies, procedures and work instructions associated with this position to fulfill Ivoclar Vivadent Manufacturing, Inc.’s Quality System. - Partake in all aspects of the Manufacturing Process. Obtained by training on all required SOPs, WMs, MPSs, and other applicable department related procedures. - Adhere to building safety and security procedures in the performance of all duties. - Maintain a clean work environment - Comply with 5S requirements - Keep accurate records within Device History Record of all production work performed - Record KPIs and daily output values via shift reports - Communicate and coordinate activities with previous and following shift. - Operate any and all pieces of equipment and machinery associated with this which include but are not limited to casting equipment, glass melting equipment, heat treatment ovens, sorting systems, adhesion equipment, packaging equipment and label makers - Perform in-process quality checks on products being produced. - Demonstrate technical expert knowledge in departmental processes. - Monitor and keep level of product defects at minimum. - Adjust process parameters to reduce product defects. - Work with Production Supervisor and Process Engineer to implement process improvements. - Utilize good judgment and learned knowledge to assess and solve problems as they arise in the production process. - Train new employees and participate in cross-training when required. - Replenish components from storage areas. - Notify Lead and Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues. - Maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP) at all times - Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times - Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Process Engineer I Location: Somerset, New Jersey  Purpose To ensure continuous improvement, timely implementation of new processes and new products to production, specifically new equipment qualification, process validation and change/noncompliance management, in close cooperation with QA, Production, Dental Technology and R&D departments.   Your Responsibilities - Responsible for undertaking process improvement and process transfer projects as well as other activities listed below in the assigned areas of responsibility with direction from Process Engineering Manager, Director of Technology, and/or Production Managers: - Qualification/Validation of new equipment and processes - Nonconformance and change management - Troubleshooting of production problems, implementation of preventive and corrective actions - Process improvement: cost reduction, increasing productivity including automation - Provide technical leadership in production environment based on good understanding of processing-structure-properties relations related to current and new products and processes within the assigned areas of responsibility. - Responsible for overseeing activities related to troubleshooting of the current production processes in close cooperation with QA, Production and R&D. - Responsible for overseeing activities related to implementing new processes and transfer of new products to production in close cooperation with QA, Production and R&D. - Conduct pilot scale experiments and tests needed to develop and/or improve production processes. - Write specifications and test methods for new and existing production processes. - Delegate sample preparation as necessary for testing to Production and QA staff. - Supervise non-routine maintenance, repairs and modifications of new and existing production equipment. - Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Specific responsibilities will be to provide administrative support and office functions including: work order coordination, security badge and access assignments, daily office operations, maintaining office records and contracts, coordinating project activities and providing general support services to the Facilities staff.   Your Responsibilities - Assist in or coordinate the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems (including but not limited to HVAC, electrical and backup power systems, compressed air systems, chilled water systems, plumbing systems, sprinkler systems). - Assist in or coordinate the maintenance and repair of building structural components including walls, roof, windows, doors, paved areas in accordance with building lease requirements. - Implement scheduled maintenance programs on mechanical, electrical and building infrastructure with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance. - Coordinate external maintenance providers for facilities infrastructure and utility equipment, schedule work with outside service vendors, and monitor performance of outside service vendors. - Assist in or manage furniture and office moves and setup of rooms for company functions. - Coordinate facility maintenance staff under direction of the Facilities and Infrastructure Manager to ensure timely completion of facilities maintenance activities according to priority. - Manage the maintenance and repair of IVMI company vehicle(s) for employee and visitor use, schedule annual maintenance and up keep for all company vehicles including shipping/receiving vehicles. - Schedule and monitor use of company vehicles by IVMI employees or visitors. - Assist Facilities and Infrastructure technicians with preventive maintenance or repair of facilities and infrastructure equipment as needed. - Manage projects at the discretion of the Facilities and Infrastructure Manager, Project manager and Director of Business Development aimed to design, procure, install, start up, and document new facility equipment. - Coordinate facility maintenance activities with other departments to minimize production downtime, protect products, and ensure safety of plant personnel. - Power user for CMM systems for the facilities group. - Utilize CMM systems to schedule, monitor and document facilities maintenance activities. - Utilize good documentation practice and maintain appropriate documentation of maintenance records, technical documents, plans, drawings, vendor lists, catalogs, etc. - Monitor use and maintain inventories of spare parts, supplies, and equipment required to support maintenance and repair of facilities and infrastructure. - Process purchase requisitions and invoices to support facilities maintenance. - Participate in scheduled emergency on-call time service as required. - Operate within existing safety guidelines. - Trains and mentors other team members(new hires, etc.) as required.   Your Qualifications - Associates or Bachelor’s degree from a trade school with related experience preferred. - Minimum of 5 years maintenance and/or facilities experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a proven history of increasing responsibility. - Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Power Point) and SAP, with the ability to learn new applications. - Must be skilled in all phases: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, safety, and state regulations. - Universal HVAC license a plus - Solid mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems. - Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems as needed. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written. - Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner. - Ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. - Ability to organize effectively, prioritize and manage time. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to work overtime/weekends on an as needed basis. - Ability to travel both domestically and internationally. QA Engineer - Validation    Location: Somerset, New Jersey  Purpose To support the Quality Assurance group in review and approvals of Qualification and Validation documents.
