    Digital Support Specialist
    Location: Amherst, New York


        To deliver digitial after sales support services to include troubleshooting, corrective action, guidance and

        follow-up to the North American customer regarding Ivoclar Digital CAD/CAM software and manufacturing



    Your Responsibilities

    • Provide troubleshooting on all technical issues related to CAD/CAM software, CNC software and manufacturing platform connectivity to include software and hardware tests
    • Provide diagnostic support through remote access to customer equipment
    • Deliver guidance in support of system sales of Ivoclar Digital CAD/CAM processing equipment as well as unique Ivoclar Digital modules within third party CAD software systems
    • Document customer interactions and complaint management activities in the CRM system, specifically in the Service Request
    • Act as Case Owner to ensure escalated Service Requests are monitored, completed, and accurately documented in a timely manner
    • Coordinate next level support function e.g. Hardware, etc. for escalation
    • Provide Service Request status updates to customer and sales manager as needed
    • Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of Ivoclar Digital CAD/CAM technologies and associated software applications to include manufacturing platforms.
    • Maintain knowledge of machine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
    • Acquire fundamental knowledge of CAD/CAM materials
    • Execute all responsibilities as associated with the following sub process to fulfill Ivoclar Vivadent Inc.’s Quality System
      • Technical Support

    Your Qualifications

    • 3+ year's experience with CAD/CAM and CNC applications
    • High level analytical skills and problem solving ability
    • Strong computer skills – Windows applications
    • Experience in a technical support and troubleshooting role
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills and speaking ability desirable
    • Knowledge of basic dental restorative processes is desirable
