    We offer an excellent opportunity for a E.max Technician I to accurately and efficiently execute operations of production equipment within E.max Production according to log sheets and specifications.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Operate any and all pieces of equipment and machinery associated with this position to produce desired product.
    • Proper and efficient use of intricate pieces of equipment and machinery, including but not limited to casting equipment, glass melting equipment, heat treatment ovens, etc.
    • Inspection of glass and single blocks.
    • Coordinate with peers and supervisors regarding production scheduling, workplace improvements, troubleshooting, etc.
    • Utilize good judgment and learned knowledge to assess and solve problems as they arise in the production process.
    • Provide daily status reports and communicate directly with other employees, both internally and externally.
    • Successfully and comprehensively train on all required and applicable SOPs, WMs, MPSs, and any other applicable department related procedures for the position.
    • Successfully and comprehensively train on all required and applicable company procedures.
    • Train new employees and participate in cross-training, when required.
    • Effective in-process quality control.
    • Accumulation of accurate records of all production work performed utilizing applicable log sheets and data management programs (e.g. Excel).
    • Maintain a clean working environment for the purpose of eliminating contamination and ensuring the longevity of sensitive equipment.
    • Adhere to building safety and security procedures in the performance of all duties.
    • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
    • One year experience as a Technician, Electrician, or related position.
    • Strong technical approach and mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge regarding fundamental production procedures and system operations required.
    • Welding and glass melting experience a plus.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Must have the ability to communicate in English fluently with all operating and production personnel.
    • Ability to utilize basic math skills to understand production needs and requirements.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team, with minimal instruction.
    • Highly motivated with the willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
    • Computer literacy required. SAP knowledge a plus. Strong knowledge of MS Office required, specifically Excel.
    • Proficiency working in a GUI environment preferred.
    • Highly detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to project current system conditions to future projections and take appropriate action.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
    • Ability and willingness to work around high temperature materials.
    • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally required.

     

    Physical Demands

    Ability to lift up to 40 pounds comfortably. Position could involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting and bending for long periods of time throughout the day. Ability to use a computer monitor and move about effectively to fulfill the essential functions of the job. Dexterity and ability to engage in fine manipulation.

    Furnaces, dental hand pieces.
