  • Overview

    We offer an excellent opportunity for a production technician to assist in the day-to-day activities of the ProCAD department, including, but not limited to processing and meeting production goals, inspecting of ceramic parts and creating high quality product.

    • Proper and efficient use of intricate pieces of equipment and machinery, including but not limited to Hydraulic
    • powder press, vacuum sintering furnace, hand tools to produce desired product.
    • Proficient in inspecting small ceramic parts for form and blemishes.
    • Processing production orders and producing dental material during shift to meet production goals set by
    • Manager/Supervisor/Lead.
    • Coordinate with peers and supervisors regarding production scheduling, workplace improvements,
    • troubleshooting, etc.
    • Utilize good judgment and learned knowledge to assess and solve problems as they arise in the production
    • process.
    • Successfully and comprehensively train on all required and applicable SOPs, WMs, MPSs, and any other
    • applicable department/company related procedures for the position.
    • Accumulation of accurate records of all production work performed utilizing applicable log sheet and data
    • management programs (e.g. Excel).
    • Maintain a clean working environment for the purpose of eliminating contamination and ensuring the longevity of
    • sensitive equipment.
    • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.


    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum 1 year experience as a technician/machine operator or related experience preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of production procedures and system operations is required.
    • Strong technical approach and mechanical aptitude.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
    • Ability to read and perform basic math calculations easily.
    • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, specifically Word & Excel. SAP knowledge preferred.
    • Knowledge of working in a GUI environment is preferred.
    • Highly detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    Physical Demands

    Ability and willingness to sit or stand for up to 8 hours per day, view computer monitor, move about effectively to fulfill

    the essential functions of the job. Ability to use stairs, bend, kneel, and lift a maximum of 30lbs. Ability and willingness

    to work with high temperature products using proper protective equipment.
