    • Responsible for maintenance, installation and repairs of all manufacturing machinery and utility equipment, including infra structure and building maintenance for both facilities Pierce and Memorial,
    • Lead and supervise maintenance team in troubleshooting, repairing and replacing equipment in both facilities
    • Implement training and coaching to maintenance technicians as required
    • Organize and manage outside vendors and contractors during project work on premises
    • Responsible for implementation of maintenance program (WASY) based on good manufacturing practices with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
    • Supervise maintenance staff and delegate maintenance work to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities according to priority.
    • Communicate regularly with all maintenance staff, both individually and as a team, to ensure effective communication concerning all maintenance issues.
    • Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to minimize production downtime, protect products, and ensure safety of plant personnel.
    • Supervise implementation of CMMS program cooperating with maintenance coordinator in delegating work to maintenance technicians,
    • Maintain appropriate documentation of maintenance records, technical documents, plans, drawings, vendor lists, catalogs, etc.
    • Evaluate operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, reduce maintenance costs, determine recommendations for preventive maintenance, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Monitor use and maintain inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
    • Coordinate transportation and installation of equipment.
    • Responsible for training employees on equipment, task procedures, work standards and proper safety procedures.
    • Operate within existing safety guidelines, serve as a safety representative, and perform safety audits as required.
    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.



    • Associates or Bachelor degree in electro-mechanical discipline or trade school with related experience.
    • Minimum of 15 years’ maintenance and/or facilities experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a proven history of hands on technical knowledge in related fields.
    • At least 5 years’ of supervisory or lead technician experience in Maintenance department.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of all equipment used, safety regulations, practices and procedures applicable to work unit.
    • Solid mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems.
    • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems as needed.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
    • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner.
    • Ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
    • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and manage time.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.


    Physical Demands

    Ability to walk or stand for extended period of time. Some occasional heavy lifting involved. Frequently communicates with employees and outside vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
