Facilities Technician

We offer an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day operations in the facilities and infrastructure group including maintenance and repair of existing building components, remodeling/refurbishment tasks.

  • Monitor, maintain and repair building components and appliances, including but not limited to doors, cabinets, shelves, tile, etc.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and equipment including but not limited to fork trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts etc.
  • Install attachments and accessories at user work stations using various hand, power, and specialty tools.
  • Perform painting and carpentry work as needed.
  • Assist in performing scheduled and "as needed" inspection and preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to maintain operations.
  • Assist team with routine monthly facilities and infrastructure tasks per the preventative maintenance schedule including HVAC filter changes
  • Setup rooms for company functions and perform miscellaneous furniture relocation and/or projects to maintain both facilities
  • Participate in scheduled emergency on-call time service as required
  • Interface with outside contractors regarding work on facilities and infrastructure equipment.
  • Follow good documentation practices to record maintenance and repair activities
  • Utilize company computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) as required to perform, record and document maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist team with administrative duties regarding facility related documents
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance/facility support or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA 10. Preferably OSHA 30.
  • Safety experience required, specifically fire and life safety.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet assignment deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to organize effectively, prioritize and time manage workload.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work with employees from all levels of the company.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, specifically Word & Excel.
  • Ability to work overtime/weekends on an as needed basis


Physical Demands

Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Occasional heavy lifting up to 60lbs. Ability to work at heights above 6 feet. Ability to work outdoors during all seasons, including on roof surfaces.


Equipment & Machinery Used

Hand and power tools, powered industrial vehicle, and inspection devices. Company vehicle. Desktop or lap top computer.
