Overview

We offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to support all aspects of the e.max block production, in conjunction with successful execution of production plans and achievement of all KPI objectives. This is a 2nd shift position (2:00PM - 11:00PM).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and expedite daily production activities through supervision and SAP functions.
  • Create production schedules through collaboration with the department manager and SAP planner.
  • Support hiring and training directives through employee counsel and review of specifications.
  • Enforce all company policy and procedures.
  • Direct cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Maintain inventory levels of all non-MRP supplies by issuing SAP purchase requisitions.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office. SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong general mechanical aptitude.
  • Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team and delegate tasks.
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, colleagues, subordinates, supervisors.
  • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated abilities to resolve diverse problems, to understand the importance of structure, organization, resource management and to complete critical tasks in a timely manner.
  • Proven effective supervisory approach with the ability to lead a team and create a positive work environment.
  • Ability to ensure compliance to applicable laws, guidelines, policies, procedures and practices.
  • Proven ability to schedule daily activities and enforce policies and procedures as needed.
  • Must be able to read and perform basic math calculations easily.
  • Quality conscious and excellent organization skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift 25 to 30 pounds comfortably. Position could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
